YEM nacio como un duo (Max Catalàn, Yemina Zec) . Nos conocimos y para probar grabamos un tema de Garbage, en un par de dìas no fuimos a tocar a la costa con el viola Cristian Freire (Rio Negro). Se pincho. Viajamos a La Plata al encuentro de Ce Tumman, pero nos chupo la Capital y terminamos en Caballito. Ahora YEM ha encontrado fuerza en el numero 4… a su formacion se han agregado Facundo Pantaleoni en trompeta y Dario Bravo ( Emular-Das) en bajo, aportando extasis y ritmo al ya particular sonido de la banda.

Zebra was created by Zdzichu and Nati in 2007. They make experiments, compose psychedelic sounds with dub-punk-reggae-indie styles. They mix modern, electronic sounds with instruments like guitars, trumpet, saxophone, melodica and bongos. Zebra draws inspiration from the world around „Every minute, every day, every year the sound flies in the air…”. They swim on the boat of anger and anarchism through the positive dub vibration oceans. They defend nature, rebel against the time of large corporations, toxic cities, plastic, synthetic feelings, rat race and fast food. With their music, Zebra are looking for the otherside of the world, more colourful and revealing because “Reality Is Not Enough…” The lyrics are written by the vocalist and there are some coming from poetry (e.g. Polish poet Andrzej Bursa and English poet William Shakspeare). In the beginning Zebra lived in Cracow and played their first koncerts there, now they are bombarding Wrocław with their sound. The members of the band are: Zdzichu- composer, live mix & mastering, Nati-vocal, Kluku- bas, Drzymek- trumpet and Simon- sax. The photos and videoclips are created by Blanka and Mateusz (blankmatte). Alongside playing concerts they organize very hot sound systems with their friends (Jahpa3 & Dupazbita), for example Dubival in Bystrzyca Olawska (1-3 of may 2009).

Coming from Greece, composing and producing electronic, ambient and house music, film composer & live set performer. Yorgos Pontsaris had his first touch with a music instrument/sequencer, around the age of 8. Amazed by electric sound, when 15 years old he bought an electric guitar, spending many hours a day teaching himself, and made his 1st music composition. This leaded him to create a band. Around 1990, he got deeper into professional midi sequencing, making electronic music also using computers, such as Amiga 500 or Commodore 64 earlier. That got expanded by spending all his money on hardware equipment and synths. Although he was already djing electronic music, his first official public appearance was in 1999 by composing and producing an ambient, long-play movie soundtrack (The Hunt For The Hare / To Kynigi Tou Lagou), and got nominated for the Greek National Award of the best original film soundtrack, at the 40th International Thessaloniki Film Festival. In the same year, he also composed soundtracks for 2 long play documentaries. After a long period of working as dj, playing house music, learning more about audio production, but having no inspiration for music compositions, he comes back in the beginning of 2008, by releasing ‘Far From True’ and ‘Summer Energy’ EPs, giving us pure electronic, deep, funky and true progressive-house output. Yorgos Pontsaris makes his debut on Sydney label Hypnotic Room with the powerful and masterfully crafted Housemade EP. Yorgos himself delivers two mixes – Elegant Mix and Club Mix, both combining his immaculate production skills and unique sounds with deep basslines, funky house rhythms and hypnotizing tech grooves that are bound to have both underground and crossover appeal. Irresistable club tech!
